We encourage people with disabilities to visit the garden, please ask for our special leaflet with tips and info. Wheelchair access to the Plant Palace is at the South entrance of the greenhouse complex. Currently the Plant Palace is undergoing major renovations; difficulties with access to the Plant Palace will arise.

Wheelchairs, walking frames and trollies for young children can be obtained for free at the main entrance. Please contact us (Phone: + 32 2 260 09 70) before your visit.

Conveniences for disabled persons are located opposite the entrance to the Herbarium and near the Garden Shop (this one also includes facilities for changing baby's napkins). Other conveniences are located near the Garden Shop, near the Orangery, and in the Plant Palace.

If you bring your picnic, we request that you use the specially provided tables at the Pachthof, where you will also find a vending machine. You are also welcome to picnic on the terraces of the Orangery Restaurant but not on the lawns.

The Garden Shop offers a broad spectrum op gardening and botanical books, plants and unique gifts. Come and taste there our unique Botanic Garden Coffee.
