Although you can spend easily a day in the National Botanic Garden of Belgium with in total 92 ha to visit, some people want to combine their visit with something else in the neighbourhood.
- The Atomium is at 3km from the Garden
- School visits can be combined with e.g. the Natural History Museum or other Brussels Museums, with a visit to the Planckendael Zoo or other tourist attractions, with the Africa Museum or other features in the Green Belt around Brussels
- The Royal Greenhouses (only opened some weeks in April and May)
- The Belgian Botanic Gardens and Arboreta

There are no hotels within walking distance of the Garden. Use the bus service and choose one of the numerous hotels in the neighbourhood of the Brussels Northern Railway station if you decide to stay near the centre of Brussels. Some hotels have special Garden rates. Ask your Garden contact about it before you book a room.
