This site collects data about belgian people, institutions and companies that are interested in, or users of, the free Linux operating system and free and/or Open Source software. The goal is to convince authorities (universities, schools, government) that Linux and Open Source software are high quality alternatives for most (but not yet all) commercial software. (Follow the links on this page for more detailed information if you're not yet convinced of the truth of this statement.)

So please take some time to fill in the following questionaire.

1. The survey is PROJECT oriented, so if you are dealing with more than one project, please enter them on separated sheets.

2. This site will be active till the end of 1999. At that time, we will evaluate whether it is useful to continue or not. If you have filled in your email address, you will be notified, and asked for your opinion.

3. Some fields allow to enter multiple choices.

4. Your data will only be used to make
   • a database of Belgian Linux projects and
   • a database of email addresses of the people that filled in the survey. The goal of this email address database is to bring potential and actual Linux users in contact with each other.

   By filling in this survey you agree with this usage of the data.

5. If you want to avoid receiving unsollicited mail or email (because your email address can be used by anybody who visits this site), use the 'NO' option of the 'public access' field.

6. '...' means for you 'not listed', and for us 'something must be added' ;-) -- please use the comment field to add the information.
